- PostProcessor.export_mesh_obj(setup_name=None, intrinsic_dict=None)[source]#
Export the mesh in
aedtplt
format. The mesh has to be available in the selected setup. If a parametric model is provided user can choose the mesh to export providing a specific set of variations. This method applies only toHfss

,Q2D
,Maxwell3d
,Maxwell2d
,Icepak
andMechanical
objects. This method is callingcreate_fieldplot_surface
to create a mesh plot andexport_field_plot
to export it asaedtplt
file.- Parameters:
- setup_name
str
,optional
Name of the setup. The default is
None
which automatically takenominal_adaptive
setup. Please make sure to build a setup string in the form of"SetupName : SetupSweep"
whereSetupSweep
is the Sweep name to use in the export orLastAdaptive
.- intrinsic_dict
dict
, optional. Intrinsic dictionary that is needed for the export. The default is
{}
which assumes no variables are present in the dict or nominal values are used.
