Hfss3dLayout.import_dataset3d(input_file, name=None, encoding='utf-8-sig', is_project_dataset=True, sort=True)

Import a 3D dataset.

Parameters:

input_filestr

Full path and name for the tab/csv/xlsx file.

namestr, optional

Name of the dataset. The default is the file name.

encodingstr, optional

File encoding to be provided for csv.

is_project_datasetbool, optional

Whether it is a project data set. The default is True.

sortbool, optional

Sort dataset. The default is True.

Returns:

ansys.aedt.core.application.variables.DataSet
