add_polygon#

Layer3D.add_polygon(points, material='copper', is_void=False, poly_name=None)[source]#

Create a polygon.

Parameters:
pointslist

Points list of [x,y] coordinates.

materialstr, optional

Material name. The default is "copper".

is_voidbool, optional

Whether the polygon is a void. The default is False. On ground layers, it will act opposite of the Boolean value because the ground is negative.

poly_namestr, optional

Polygon name. The default is None.

Returns:
ansys.aedt.core.modeler.advanced_cad.stackup_3d.Polygon
